I still remember the day I pulled Anton from the standard banner. It was back in the 1.0 days, and I was just a fresh player trying to figure out how to build a team that could actually clear Shiyu Defense. Fast forward to 2026, and Anton is still one of my go-to electric DPS agents. Sure, the meta has shifted, new S-ranks have arrived, but there's something satisfying about drilling through enemies with a guy who literally shouts about his drill. So, if you're like me and want to make the most of this A-rank Attack Agent, here's everything I've learned.

Anton is a member of Belobog Industries, and his kit revolves around two modes: a physical basic attack mode and an electric burst mode. His core ability boosts his skill damage, while his additional ability lets him deal extra shock damage to already-shocked enemies. That makes him a perfect fit for a mono-electric team. He's not the sharpest drill in the shed, but his damage output when built right is no joke.

When I first started building him, I had no idea what W-Engine to use. Luckily, his signature engine, Drill Rig - Red Axis, is a game-changer. It's an energy regen engine that boosts electric damage from basic and dash attacks by up to 80% for 10 seconds after an EX Special or Chain Attack. Since Anton's burst mode turns all his basics into electric damage, this is a perfect match. The energy regen also helps him stay in burst mode more often. If you don't have it, The Brimstone is a great alternative. It stacks ATK every time you hit with a basic, dash, or dodge counter, and in burst mode you're attacking constantly, so you'll max out those 8 stacks in no time. For crit lovers, Cannon Rotor gives a nice crit rate main stat and an extra 200% ATK damage on crits every few seconds. And if you're on a budget, Starlight Engine boosts your ATK after a dodge counter or quick assist, which you'll be doing a lot in burst mode.

Now, let's talk discs. I've tried two main builds, and both work wonders depending on your team.

Build 1: Pure Electric Damage

  • 4-piece Thunder Metal: 2-piece gives 10% electric DMG, and 4-piece gives 28% ATK as long as an enemy is shocked.

  • 2-piece Swing Jazz: 20% energy regen.

  • Main stats: IV – Crit DMG or Crit Rate, V – Electric Damage or Pen Ratio, VI – ATK.

  • Substats priority: 1. Crit Rate/DMG, 2. ATK%, 3. Pen (if using Pen Ratio), 4. Anomaly Proficiency.

This build is all about maximizing damage against shocked enemies. Since Anton's additional ability already triggers extra shock damage, Thunder Metal pushes it even further. Just make sure you have a good crit ratio.

Build 2: Heavy Rotation

  • 4-piece Hormone Punk: 2-piece gives 10% ATK, 4-piece gives 25% ATK for 10s when you enter combat or switch in.

  • 2-piece Swing Jazz: 20% energy regen.

  • Main stats: same as above.

  • Substats: same priority.

This one is for teams where you switch Anton in, pop burst mode for about 10 seconds, then switch out while he regains energy. The constant ATK boost keeps his damage high.

Skill priority is crucial. Always max his Core Skill first. Then, level his Special Attack and Basic Attack equally because burst mode upgrades with both. His Ultimate is third – it does decent damage but you won't use it as often. Dodge is fourth because in burst mode his dodge does good electric damage. Assist is last, though still useful.

For Bangboo, I usually run Plugboo because it increases anomaly buildup by 100% with two electric characters. That means more shocks, which means more damage. Safety is great if you have two Belobog characters – it boosts chain attack damage by 20%, and an extra 20% if the target is shocked or burning. Electroboo is a weaker Plugboo but still helps apply shock faster.

Finally, the team. My favorite is the mono-electric shock team: Anton, Grace, and Rina. Grace applies shock consistently, Rina buffs electric damage and reduces enemy electric RES, and Anton capitalizes on shocked enemies. While in burst mode, every 4 critical hits triggers an additional shock DMG at 45% of the original. It's a beautiful loop. I usually keep Anton on-field only when he has energy for burst mode, especially when the enemy is shocked. That quick rotation playstyle is where he shines.

So, even in 2026, Anton remains a solid choice for an electric DPS. He's not flashy, but with the right build and team, he'll drill through anything. And honestly, that's all I ever wanted. ⚡🔧
